Students often aren’t aware of all the services available to help them succeed in and out of the classroom. A Student Assistance Program is one of these services. With a network of clinical experts, life management specialists, financial coaches and community resources, a student assistance program gives students every resource possible to reach their goals.
How does it work?
Our live specialists receive requests by phone, email, text, or online.. They then facilitate or refer the student to the services best for their specific situation. If you’re stressed about housing issues, for example – you’ll get one-on-one counseling, referrals for local housing options within your budget, and information about community resources.
What else can it help with?
Telephonic counseling for stress, anxiety, and depression; resources to help keep your life in balance, like financial planning, legal consultation, and even the perfect babysitter—are all part of the wide range of student assistance services available. And there’s always personalized referrals: from affordable housing and job search assistance to low-cost laptops. There are even resources tailored to veterans, active duty members, and military family members.
Is it just for me?
No, the Student Assistance Program is also there for your family members, because the ones you support and the ones who support you can often be under as much stress as you when that big project’s due. Family members can be right next-door or across the country and receive assistance – it’s complimentary and confidential.
